After receiving my SDG&E bill during the Enron Crisis of 2000 I became interested in Energy. At first it was just following the train wreck. As time went on I began to study more about the energy and was convinced that costs would rise. I did several DIY projects to lower my bill. I decided to buy solar as a cost effective way to reduce my bill. After careful study I determined that conservation was far more cost effective than installing solar.

I devised a business plan to market energy efficiency to the residential market. Looking around for certifications I began my training in Building Science in 2006. I began assembling the tools and training needed for the industry. Little did I know when I first started that the learning never stops and there is always one more tool.

With my background in home repairs as a self employed handyman since 2002 gives me a unique perspective of perform repairs cost effectively.
